Aid #1

This specimen was developed as an affordable aid for the handicapped. Extremely compact, intelligent, obedient, quick and agile, it seemed perfect. The problem was this creature had to be plugged in, once a day for four hours, to a very large and expensive machine that served the function of the vital organs left out of the creature for space-saving reasons.

Dexter I

Developed initially as a 'cable-runner' pulling cables through pipes and conduit, it's intelligence and agility made it perfect for surveillance and espionage work. Outfitted with miniature audio and video gear, it could gain access to hard to reach areas undetected. These specimen contained all the normal vital organs and digestive system so it could remain autonomous for an indefinite length of time. One by one, every specimen escaped. None were recaptured. Their fate remains unknown.

Dexter III

This was one of Chi's finest specimens. Only one was created. Roughly one foot tall, it was combination of a left human hand with a gooseneck and supersensitive human sensory organs; nose, ears, one eye and a mouth. Designed as an autonomous espionage unit, the lone eye doubled as a video camera, and together with the microphones in it's ears it was capable of transmitting it's signal up to two miles. Lügner claims that Dexter III could also receive vocal instructions transmitted to it and was capable of vocally relaying messages. Dexter was quite agile; acrobatic in fact, and very quick. It was omnivorous and quite self-sufficient and a master at hiding. It died of old age when it was four years old.
